Klee-Klee

22” x 24”

Small in stature but unmistakably fierce, the American Kestrel is America’s smallest raptor distinguished by its striking slate-blue wings, rust colored back and bold black markings beneath the eyes. Created with hand-dyed and batik fabrics, this larger-than-life portrait celebrates the color, character, and beauty of this creature. The title Klee-Klee echoes the bird’s distinctive call.
