Meet the Artist
Janet Fox is an award-winning fiber artist whose work celebrates the natural world. Inspiration comes in a variety of ways — a surprising encounter, an unexpected color, a moment of beauty—and grows through fabric, thread, texture, and stitch.
Janet has developed her craft by studying with Betty Busby, Sandra Mollon, Katie Pasquini Masopust, Phyllis Cullen, Jane Sassaman, Gloria Loughman, and Andrea Brokenshire.
Her work has been exhibited at the International Quilt Festival-Houston, National Juried Show of Canada and SAQA Texas Regional Exhibition.
In addition to her active artistic practice, Janet loves to teach, helping quilters expand their creative vocabulary by combining strong design principles with traditional and innovative techniques, building confidence while seeing familiar materials in fresh ways.
